This study investigates the impact of organizational agility—operationalized through competence, flexibility, responsiveness, and rapidity—on firm performance, with a particular focus on the mediating role of IT capability. A quantitative survey was administered to textile managers in Rabat, Casablanca, and Fez, and analyzed using SmartPLS and structural equation modeling. The results reveal that competence, flexibility, and responsiveness significantly enhance IT capability, which in turn drives firm performance. In contrast, rapidity showed no direct effect. These findings underscore the critical role of IT capabilities as strategic enablers of agility and performance, emphasizing the need for digital transformation to be integrated with human capital development and internal process optimization to unlock its full potential.
